The guidebook notes that the Allegheny campus is 鈥渙ne of the country’s oldest and most dynamic private liberal arts institutions鈥� and a premier college for students with different interests, skills, and talents. The organization also mentions Allegheny as one of the Best Northeastern Colleges.
For its selection of profiled schools, the Princeton Review examines surveys from over 160,000 students, ranking institutions on academics, quality of life, politics, campus life, extracurriculars, and social scenes.聽
