While many people spend hours in the spring and summer on their hands and knees eradicating dandelions and ground ivy from their suburban lawns, Katherine Hoehl 鈥25 can be found in the kitchen turning those plants and other 鈥渨eeds鈥 into tasty, nutritious meals.
The work of noted American poet Walt Whitman garnered great attention across the literary world in the mid-19th Century, and his words are still being read with exhilaration and enthusiasm on the 花椒直播 campus more than 130 years after his death.
Dr. Jennifer Houtz has had a passion for ornithology since she started college, and it is taking flight now as her research makes its way into national publications, including the New York Times, Newsweek, and Nature Research Highlights.
